Iroko
The sapwood is typically a pale brown, and the heartwood can vary in color from a light golden brown to a dark brown. There can be dark spots/streaks, these are calcium carbonate deposits. The grain is interlocked and has a fine and even texture.
All Timber Species
Iroko is very durable and is resistant to both rot and insect attack. It's sometimes used as a substitute for Teak.

Iroko is a light brown timber from Africa which turns darker on exposure. A very stable timber, Iroko is very popular due to it's similarity in appearance to teak. Another reason for popularity is it's ability to take stains. Available Flooring Options: Blocks, Strip & Plank Flooring
